
Dr. Sejko regularly acts as a legal and policy consultant. He has already worked on different projects on transnational law issues and collaborated with governmental bodies, multinational corporations, and non-profit organisations.
Dr Sejko has gained significant experience in the analysis of Chinese investments, exploring policy and regulatory developments in Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, and the ASEAN region more broadly, since the launch of the Belt and Road Initiative. He has also examined the spike in Chinese investments in the European Union, assessed their geoeconomic implications, and reviewed regulatory responses such as investment screening mechanisms.
Dr Sejko has worked on:
- international arbitration and legislative drafting,
- national security, economic security, and investment screening regulation,
- foreign direct investment and investment arbitration,
- public health regulation in free trade and investment agreements,
- capital flow management measures in free trade and investment agreements.
