Dini Sejko is an Associate Professor at Sun Yat-Sen University and a Visiting Professor at the Peking University School of Transnational Law. Dr Sejko is dispute resolution specialist and a transnational law scholar focusing on international arbitration, state capitalism, and economic security. Prof Sejko is also Director of the Sovereign Wealth Funds Center.

Dr Sejko serves as an arbitrator, mediator, conciliator, and tribunal secretary. Dr Dini Sejko is listed on the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) Panels of Arbitrators and Conciliators, and at other regional arbitral institutions. Dr Sejko has advised governmental bodies, multinational corporations, and non-profit organisations on dispute resolution, legislative drafting, and other international economic law issues.

Dr Sejko has taught “Transnational Legal Issues and Dispute Settlement” at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Business School. He is also a research affiliate at The Fletcher Network for Sovereign Wealth and Global Capital, Tufts University, and an associate member at the University College London, China Centre. He has held visiting research positions at the University of Melbourne, University College London, King’s College London, and the University of Leeds. For his research on the impact of sanctions on the governance of the Libyan sovereign wealth fund, Dr Sejko received the Society of International Economic Law PEPA Best Paper Award 2018. Dr Sejko is co-editor of “The Regulation of State-Controlled Enterprises: An Interdisciplinary and Comparative Examination,” published by Springer. His research has appeared as articles in the American University International Law Review, Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law, Israel Law Review, Global Trade and Customs Journal, and as book chapters published by Springer & Routledge. Dr Sejko has spoken at conferences at Oxford University, Peking University, the British Institute of International and Comparative Law, University College London, etc., on international arbitration, the governance of state capitalism, and the role of sanctions.

Dr Sejko is fluent in English, Italian, and Albanian, has professional knowledge of French, and has basic knowledge of Mandarin.

Dr Sejko has obtained a Combined Bachelor and Master of Science in Law from Bocconi University, a Master of Laws in International Economic Law, and a PhD in Laws from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
